find a department

Finding the right Robart Department
All Robart Product Divisions are broken down within the main navigation links at the top. While some of these divisions do cross such as R/C AIR and APPAREL, each division offers 100% of the items that we sell retail. These links do not change from page to page.

Once you have found the correct Robart Division, you have a few options for navigation. Since Robart is known for its Top of the Line RC Retracts, we will use this one as an example.

Categories within Each Division
The two main ways to search for an item within a Robart Division is "Hover Over" and "All Categories"

Hover Over
When you take your mouse and hover over a category as show in Diagram 1, you will see a list of all the categories drop down.

From here you can navigate your mouse to the desired category you want to check out and simply click.

From here, if you still need assistance, please navigate to the next section.

Usig Filters

Using Filters
Every Store Page is set up with filters to help you narrow down your search to find the perfect item for your next project. These filters are always on the left hand side and are set up in the manufacturer's suggested order. For example.

If Robart doesn't make an OEM gear for your model
then you want to find one using the "Retract by Weight" category. All Robart Retracts are designed by weight. Using a lower rated gear will fail. This means we highly recommend choosing all the weight classes that your kit fits into. And then from there, you can work your way down. The system will automatically remove any item that doesn't fit within your parameters. You can also click on multiple filters within each section narrowing your search down even more or, opening up more possibilities. These steps are shown below in diagrams 3, 3.2 and 3.3.

Note: you can click on any of the images below for a larger view. When you are finished just click on the "X" in the top right corner.

Spare Parts Search

Spare Parts Search

There are several ways to look for spare parts. Product Page, Search Site and Spare Parts List.

1. Every item has its spare parts listed below their product. So, if you know you have item #150, you can simply go to that item in the store, scroll down and all spare parts will be listed under "Spare Parts".

2. In addition to being listed under their product location, under the "SUPPORT" tab there is a listing for all items we sell spare pats for under their Robart Product Number. You can simply click on the appropriate item number, locate the spare part you are looking for, click on that part number and it will take you to that product page.

3. If you know the part number you are looking for, you can use the "Search Site" located in the top right hand side of every page. Simply type in your spare part number and press enter. This will generate all items that contain what you type.

Tips when searching

If you have an older spare parts list that appears with a dash in it, remove the dash before searching for it. For example. item #145-452A should be type in as 145452A.

Sometimes item numbers change but they don't change that much. You can use partial item numbers to search as well. For example. If you have a much older spare parts list that calls for item #145-452P, this very well could have been changed to "A" and then the dash was removed. Searching for item number 145452 will also give you the same results.

Using Filters 2.0 for Spare Parts

With the industry changing everyday we have upgraded one section on our website, "Spare Parts". Every modeller has a different style and while one modeller may be building to scale from the factory floor, another may be building from scale from a specific battle and we realize, that this means parts and pieces were scavenged for during those times to get the birds in the air. So, while an oleo may have been one way when it was manufactured, it could very well have changed before the epic battle that won that kit its notoriety. With these different styles it can sometimes be hard to navigate the 1000+ parts that we offer to make that unique one-off that you are going for. So, for this, we designed an in depth spare parts page that allows you to use over 100 filters to achieve your goal with little to no modeling while ensuring everything fits together nicely.
